At least her outer village is far removed from the cities of the sols, and she won’t ever be forced to present herself to them... Until one small mistake changes everything, and Willa is awarded a position to serve at Blesswood, the top sol academy in the world—a position that she definitely did not earn.
Under the sudden, watchful eye of the gods, she will be tasked to serve the Abcurse brothers, five sols built of arrogance, perfection and power. They are almost gods themselves, and under their service, she is either going to end up sentenced to death or else they are going to ruin her so badly that she will wish for it.
Either way, she is in trouble.
Review
Willa Knight, the protagonist of this story, comes from a poor community. She's a dweller, which means that she's considered like shit. The best two in the community get to go work for the "gods" in the academy, which makes the two slightly above shit. Willa decides to hack into the system and change the marks of her best friend, Emmy, to make sure that she goes. However, in the process, she also changes her own marks, not thinking that she would be considered the second person leaving. But she does leave and so does Emmy. I...cannot fucking fathom, why these two authors, lovers of reverse harem might I add, came together to write this hot fucking mess.
You know, you would think that I would look at the genres, and think what the fuck does polyamorous reverse harem mean? Nope. My dumbass just thought it was some regular romance between a male and a female. So, I read it. And holy shit, I just see Willa fucking a bunch of guys and I'm like which one of the fuckers is she going to choose? I keep reading and all I'm getting is a dominant male measuring the length of their cocks to see which one wouldn't fit in Willa's vagina. Reading Willa's mind is like reading some experienced prostitute that had their hymen grown back.
HOLY FUCK. Like how many times am I supposed to read the word whore and slut and bitch in a single sentence? Anyway, enough of that. Even with all that disgusting smut, I'm going to tell you my favourite of the five guys. The five guys are, of course, are all brothers. The Abscure brothers. Who of fucking course, look all the same and are hot enough to burn hell. The guy's names are Siret, Yael, Aros, Rome, and Coen. My favourite is...Rome. And you fucking know why? It's because the name is literally the hottest out of the five. Like fuck their personalities, I only care about their names. Are you shitting me with the names Coen, and Yael and Siret? Coen just sounds like Ms. Cohen, who was my bitchy principal, and Yael just sounds like the Ivy League School, Yale University.
So let's talk about Emmy, Willa's best friend. I shit you not, she might be the most pious person I have ever read before. She is this sweet, caring, and devoted character, that I actually felt bad when she had to work for the "gods" in the academy. So, and then there is Willa....sigh!!! So there is the protagonist, Willa Knight...and she is the most god awful character, like omg I smacked my head against the book so many times I had to stop before I severely injured myself. Willa is this clumsy and awkward 18-year-old girl who because she's a fucking cheater, decided to hack into the system and she accidentally got chosen to go to the academy with her best friend, Emmy.
There was this one quote, that I was like, fuck my life.
“It’s your own fault, Will. What did I tell you about walking?," asked Emmy.“That I should leave it to the experts," I said with resignation.
I'm like, bitch, you can't even walk properly? Well you see, you move one leg, and then the other leg slightly more than the other, and just keep going until you are at your destination. I was like oh fuck, not only is this girl pathetic and awkward as fuck, she's horny and disabled. But you know, reverse harems and all that.
There was this one scene when she first met all the Abscure brothers. And someone said to stay away from them, they're dangerous. So of fucking course, Willa just keeps staring....and staring....and staring...and staring at them, until she literally stumbles on literally fucking nothing, and one of the Abscure fuck brothers catches her. This sets the whole thing into motion, where not only did she catch the eye of one of them, she got all the brothers horny for her ass.
Plus, the book literally has no plot. If you do read it, and that's a big if, you will know what the hell I'm talking about. I will literally summarize the entire story in one sentence. I shit you not, it will include the entire thing.
Once upon a fucking time, there was this poor ass girl, named Willa Knight, who caught the attention of the Abscure Fucker Five, and they all decide to start some polyamorous relationship where not only can one of them fuck her, all FIVE of them can fuck her at the same time.
